M Gallery features high quality contemporary works by noted and newly found artists. M Gallery offers artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their art. The “winners” of this juried invitational will have a show at M Gallery slated for Summer 2008.

Solo or Group Show at M Gallery and/or cash awards
Eligibility:
This competition is open to all artists, 18 years and older. Mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography will be considered. No computer generated works or prints at this time.
Slides/CDs:
Images of artwork must be submitted as either slides or digitally on CDs. Slides should be 35mm in slide mounts. (No glass.) Both slides and CDs must be clearly identified with name, date, titles, size and medium. Number each slide or image to correspond to the entry form and indicate the top of each slide. Quality counts! Images must be clear and well-photographed. Please submit only one slide for each work; however, one cd may contain all the images. For cds, format should be jpegs, 300 psi.
Do not submit original art for judging. Entry material (including CDs or slides) submitted to the jury will not be returned. Please make sure you have duplicates of what you send for your own files.
Work:
Selection for exhibition is based only on the specific images you submit. Fresh artwork, conceived and created by the entrant will be considered. Pieces exhibited at other galleries are not eligible. Work should not exceed 48” x 60” and sculpture should not weigh over 150 lbs.
The Artist may Include a brief artist's statement, résumé or supporting information/press about your art. Selection process will be by a panel of three jury members.
Entry Fees:
A non-refundable fee of $30 for three slides or three images on CD and $5 for each additional image. Fee must be payable to M Gallery by check or visa card (no American Express) and must accompany entry. The receipt of an entry into the juried exhibition will constitute an agreement by the artist with the conditions set forth in this prospectus. Your cancelled check or credit card chzrge will be notification of receipt of your entry. (Or send a self-addressed, stamped postcard if you want to be notified directly of receipt.)
All submission applications must be received by deadline date of February 28, 2008. Entry applications, fees, slides (or CD) must be received in one envelope. Late or incomplete applications will be disqualified.
Selection:
Jurors will include Patrick Milbourn (artist and owner of M Gallery), Kiko Govantes (internationally noted artist), and Brian Branigan (photographer and art director). The jury’s decision is final. No entry may be withdrawn once it has been accepted. Notification of acceptance will be by March 31, 2008.
Commission:
50% artist and 50% to the gallery.
